Kia ora, I'm Bex, the artist behind Sugar Viper.

I’m a fine line tattoo artist based in Aucklands North Shore.

I’ve always been very creative, and always loved to draw and create, and now I get to turn that love into tattoos every day!

Being a tattoo artist is my dream job! I love helping people bring their vision to life, whether it’s deeply meaningful or just something cute, fun, and just because. There’s something truly magical about creating art that is permanently with someone and part of their life story.

Outside of tattooing I love the beach, spending time with friends and fam, reading, food (eating & making!), listening to music, painting & creating, and hanging out with my cat, Moonpie ⭐️

My style is detailed, soft, and fine line. Whether that be florals, delicate script, ornamental pieces, sticker styled small designs, dot work, illustrative work, microrealism or delicate colour pieces.

I’m a black, grey and colour artist! I’m always keen to take on colour work. Especially floral & botanical colour work, water colour, or a cute pop within a black and grey piece.

I’m super inspired by natural elements like birds and plants, marine animals and the ocean, as well as celestial and fantasy imagery - the moon, stars, dot-work, and of course, any type of florals! I love working on anything from meaningful memorial pieces, to fun little sticker flash pieces! (Basically I love tattooing 😉)

Even though I have a distinct style that you may see on my instagram, I’m always open to variety. If you’ve got an idea that’s outside my usual vibe, I’d still love to hear about it, collaborating on unique tattoos is one of my favourite parts of the job and I enjoy taking on many different styles of a tattoo project ✨
